Art and Laraine Bennett have co-authored 7 books together, with three books on temperament. Art is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 35 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Bennett Consulting and Therapy, LLC. For ten years, he was President and CEO of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington; he was co-founder and Director of the Alpha Omega Clinics in Northern Virginia and Maryland for 8 years; and Vice President on international mental health with SAIC for 15 years. Laraine has a Masters in Philosophy and has also authored 2 solo books, The Little Way of Living with Less: Learning to Let Go with the Little Flower (Sophia Institute Press, 2022) and A Year of Grace. She also created the game, Know Thyself! The Game of Temperaments (Sophia Institute Press, 2022). Their newest book, Anxiety: A Catholic Guide to Freedom from Worry and Fear, was co-authored with their eldest daughter, Dr. Lianna Haidar. Art and Laraine are frequent speakers on marriage and family issues. They have four adult children and eleven grandchildren.
