Yesterday, Fr. Hilton biked to Mazama, Washington. He traveled just over 71 miles in close to 9 hours of travel time and he climbed from 656 feet elevation to 5656 feet.
It was a grueling day, and he has it on good authority that he’s done climbing. Today we get two videos from him.
Here’s the first, where he thought he was done climbing. “It was the longest, most difficult climbing I’ve done in my life,” he says. And his response to seeing the elevation sign? “Thanks be to God!”
