Ohio conference to defend Church priorities

Yep:

The Catholic Conference of Ohio has just announced that "more than 150 Catholics in delegations from the state’s six dioceses will gather April 14 in Columbus for a daylong program" entitled "Defending our Priorities: the Sanctity of Life, the Centrality of the Family, and the Importance of Education." The gathering will include Archbishop Celestino Migliore, papal nuncio to the United Nations. More …

“Ultimately we want to help people become better informed about this and so people take responsible action in their family, church and community,” said [Leonard Calabrese, director of the diocesan Commission on Catholic Community Action].

Ohio was chosen for one of a series of such gatherings nationwide because of its political importance as a swing state in elections.

Makes you want to jump for joy, doesn't it? Too bad the actual program is about global warming climate change.
