As a daughter of God the Father, mother of God the Son and spouse of the Holy Spirit, her position within the mystery of the Trinity might seem to place her beyond our understanding and emulation –but that is not so. God in his goodness offers us a woman who walked and wept, who laughed and lingered among loved ones as all of us do. While she was without sin, she was flesh and blood, wife and friend, mother and believer –in a capacity we can all treasure on a variety of levels.”
