Review the dare and try to work on weak areas.

Let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God” (1 John 4:7).

Well, after today, we are half way through Lent and through our family love dare. Today we are trying to take inventory of what things have been successful and what things need work. We have noticed that we have all become more helpful, but we still have trouble controlling our tongues. I am especially guilty of that. Overall, the dare has been a very positive thing for us. We have become more aware of each other. We are trying to fill each others’ needs in a more thoughtful way. We still have a long way to go.

Lord, give us the strength to face our own shortcomings and the grace to correct them.
