Counting Down with Fr. Hilton

Fr. Hilton is in the final days before he leaves from Anacortes, Washington to bike across the country.

His route will take him across the northern states and a small portion of Canada and, by his own admission, he will be praying Hail Marys all the way.

You can follow along on our Avila to Aspen page or by using this special feed for the Avila to Aspen posts.

Thanks to Fr. Hilton, there’s a chance that we’ll be able to have a satellite campus in Aspen. What does that mean for you?

It means that what has prior to now been a purely virtual experience will have the opportunity to be face-to-face at least four times a year.

It means that “summer school for your soul” could be a reality that involves a plane ride or a car trip to a real life place.

It means that our mission of reaching people with the beauty of spiritual theology could reach a whole different level.

But we can’t do it without you.

How You Can Help

1. Pray.

We need to keep Fr. Hilton in our prayers. Let’s surround him with our prayer efforts, including (but not limited to) calling on the help and intercession of guardian angels, St. Teresa of Avila, and of course the Blessed Mother.

2. Spledge.

That’s not a typo, that’s what we’re using to raise funds. Fr. Hilton has graciously allowed us to use the miles of his trip as a way of raising the funds we need to make the satellite campus in Aspen happen.

3. Share.

With social media being what it is, it shouldn’t take us long to spread the word about our Avila to Aspen efforts. Share the link www.SpiritualDirection.com/Aspen and tell the story and why it appeals to you. Ask others to pray for Fr. Hilton and ask them to share about the story as well.
