If you wish to make an editorial comment regarding one of our articles, your comment can be contained within the body of your email. Please include your full name and city, state in your signature line.
Please note that all emails submitted to Catholic Exchange or its authors (regarding articles published at CE) become the property of Catholic Exchange and may be published in our Viewers Letters space. Published letters may be edited for length and clarity. Names and cities of letter writers may also be published. (Last names withheld upon request.) Email addresses of letter writers will not normally be published.
All press releases should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, not to the support or editors addresses.
How to Submit an Article for Publication
All editorial submissions (articles) should be sent as Word documents attached to an email to email@example.com. If it is your first submission, please include a brief author’s blurb for us to put at the end of the article as well as a recent headshot. If you think we may already have a topic covered, contact us in advance. If it is time-sensitive, say so in the subject line and try to submit your piece two weeks before the pertinent date. If your piece has already appeared in another publication (print or online), please obtain permission from the original publisher and let us know so we can properly credit them. We don’t have precise word count limits, but a good rule of thumb would be to to keep between 800-1200 for opinion pieces and 1000-1500 for feature stories. All articles are edited and titles may be changed without notice to the author.
