Rosary Novena for 3-year old leukemia patient

I am writing to ask you to join me in a Rosary Novena for Emma Grace Bowley.  She is a 3-year old who has been bravely fighting leukemia since March.  The Novena will start on Thursday, September 27 which is the next time Emma will be going to the hospital for treatment.

If you pray five decades every day, this Novena will take 54 days.  If you pray one full Rosary (15 decades) every day, it will take 18 days.  It is important in this devotion that once it has begun, no days are missed.  I’ve included some information on a Rosary Novena at the bottom of this message. Attached is a document on how to pray the Rosary. If you are receiving this message after the Novena has begun, please join us, and just start from the beginning.

Thank you for your gift of prayer, your devotion to Our Lady, and your faith.

Rosary Novena for Emma Bowley

Our petition (first 27 days):  Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer we offer this Rosary as part of our Rosary Novena for Emma Grace Bowley. We place her under your care and humbly ask that you restore her to health again. Alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love. Strengthen our hopeful hearts, that as partakers of Christ's sufferings we may also share in his comfort now and for evermore.

Our thanksgiving (last 27 days):  Dear Lord, we offer this Rosary as part of our Rosary Novena in thanksgiving for granting our petition in the abundance of Your love, for the gift of faith in all those who pray this Novena, for the hope we receive through Your healing love, and for all acts of the charity for those in need.

Schedule:   The first 27 days will be for our petition, begin with the prayer (above), then say five decades focusing on one set of mysteries daily in this order:  Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious.  Repeat this order for 27 days (you will end on the Sorrowful Mysteries).  The last 27 days will be for our thanksgiving, begin with the prayer, and then say five in order, starting with the Joyful Mysteries.

Thank you to everyone who participates.  May the Peace of Christ be with you always.
