Dr. Kevin Vost joins Michael Lichens, once more, to discuss his latest book, The Hounds of the Lord. In today’s podcast, we talk about the Dominican Order, formally called the Order of Preachers, and the various saints this order has given us in eight centuries. As the Order celebrates their jubilee, we offer this podcast so that you might find other great saints to learn from.
Obviously, Michael and Kevin are both great fans of the Dominican Order. However, not many know about the great work this holy group has done through the centuries. While their ranks includes such intellectual giants like Thomas Aquinas and Albert the Great, they also include saints who helped the poor, built institutions of charity, and even a few Popes and bishops.
