Please offer some prayers for our newest daughter, Mary Pat, born Monday, Feb 12, 2007.
She has Pierre Robin Syndrome, a condition in which she has a cleft palate and her lower jaw is recessed and small, so the tongue and soft palate do not have enough room and she cannot breathe on her own.
She has already had a surgery and will have at least two more. As her dad, I find it humbling that I am completely powerless to help or protect her. She's getting the best medical attention we can find.
We entrust her to Jesus and the divine mercy of our heavenly Father. And the power of prayer.
