Feminists for Life is conducting a nationwide search for a few feminists who share our passion for women-centered solutions and are able to convey FFL's "Women Deserve Better"® message and solutions to various audiences, primarily collegians — pro-life and pro-choice.
We are also looking for a facilitator to host our Pregnancy Resource Forums.
Required: A strong commitment to Feminists for Life's pro-woman, pro-life mission and philosophy, a desire to transform college campuses and the world to support pregnant women and parents.
Desirable: Current member/supporter of Feminists for Life (www.feministsforlife.org). A personal story that will illustrate Feminists for Life's message (became pregnant in college, went to college as a parent, placed a child for adoption, survived an abortion, was pro-choice but became pro-life, was pro-life but is now also a feminist.) Experienced speaking before audiences a plus.
Speakers must be able to travel during the school year, primarily fall and spring, typically making a three- to five-day speaking tour as often as once a month. Some weekends. This is not a full time job but rather a contract position. Feminists for Life will pay a stipend and expenses.
