DAILY DEVOTIONS, LIFELONG FAITH

Email . . .

13 Dec 2006

I lift CE Email to You, our God . . .

Email reminds me of little girls who so ‘set-up’ to ‘play house’ and ‘have fun’, they never get around to the latter two. My former older sister-in-law was so as a child so often that neighborhood boys snuck garter snakes into her play gear, and got a rise as dear old N. probably spouted of poisonous curses, little-girl style, against them.

There is nothing so nearly fatal as trying to unwind those ‘wound too tight’, or give release to the ‘anal retentive’. S-in-law N. had these attributes to such degree, every instance with her was pregnant with them. God save us from the ‘fun’ of being with the N’s of the world.

Email is a definite N. at the moment. It is so busy with ‘objects’ it seems to forget it has an ‘objective’ – Email!

Of course, the whole site seems to need prayers for celerity. Send money – they seem to have need of some hardware that would give fleetness to our movements. Right now, the site seems so slow that it loses linkages from one to another function; hence, posts are lost as it can no longer find ‘preview’.

Oh, and, techies, I went ‘false’ on ‘Tiny-MiCE text settings’ hoping for increase in timely movements. No go . . . The spiritually hungry may be starving – here, they just will nap on their keyboards. Or, lose ‘interest’ as well as connection for ‘Too many connections’, eh?

I remain your obedient servant, but God’s first,

Pristinus Sapienter

Sixty-two years old in a young way - I'm a Grandpa! - long a widower and for too short a time a child of God who attends to Christ and His Church. CE has given me information, but, more importantly, helped me find ways to voice my thoughts. My primary listeners are Christ, Who accepts so much as prayer, and myself, who is still but a catechumen in so many ways. And, you know how you need prayer? Well, I need prayer many times more than you. And, when you do pray for me, the Lord listens and responds. Enough about me - let's talk about Jesus.
