John Berry serves as President of the National Council of the United States, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, one of the oldest and largest lay Catholic organizations with a $1.7 billion annual impact and more than 4,000 locations nationwide. After a 25-year career in the nuclear power, environmental engineering, and high technology sectors, including senior executive roles with Fortune 100 companies, he led St. Vincent de Paul Georgia for 14 years, spearheading statewide advocacy efforts. He later served as National Vice President for the Southeast USA before being elected National President of the SVdP USA Council in 2023.
