Fulton J. Sheen on Love & the Greatest Commandment | Allan Smith

14 Feb 2022

An interview with Al Smith, Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Mission Society of Canada

Of all the words in modernity’s vocabulary, few are more misunderstood than love. In such confusion, many people have found clarity and solace in the wisdom of Ven. Fulton J. Sheen. With his academic and spiritual background, Bishop Sheen still has much to teach us about the meaning of the word love.

Today’s guest, Allan Smith, is the editor of four bestselling Fulton J. Sheen Anthologies, including the recent book, The Greatest Commandment: A Fulton Sheen Anthology on Love. Mr. Smith considers Fulton Sheen to be a “life coach” for our confused world and we discuss the TV bishop’s sobering views on love and friendship. We also discuss Sheen’s insights into how we can fulfill Christ’s command to love our neighbor as ourselves.
