St. Casimir was born in 1458 in Kraków, Poland, as a prince of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. He died at the young age of 25 in 1484, leaving behind a legacy of holiness, self-discipline, and unwavering faith. St. Casimir is the patron saint of Poland and Lithuania.
