At a time when Christians faced intense oppression under Islamic rule, St. Eulogius provided spiritual guidance and support to those imprisoned for their beliefs. He wrote extensively, documenting the lives of martyrs and encouraging Christians to remain steadfast in their faith. Despite multiple imprisonments, he continued his ministry fearlessly. Eventually, he was arrested again for defending a convert to Christianity and was beheaded in 859. His writings and witness remain a powerful testament to faith in the face of adversity.
