Sharing (Good) Books with Your Children

20 Oct 2015

There is a certain joy in reading with your children that many of us recall from our youth. However, the questions that go along with it can be a little intimidating. Today on the Catholic Exchange Podcast Michael is joined by  Christy Isinger of the Fountains of Home blog to talk about the benefits of sharing good books with your children and how you can make reading with your kids an incredible joy. We also focus on how Christy uses good books in her homeschooling days with her own children as well as our favorite books from childhood.

Christy Isinger is the mom to five lovely and loud children under the age of 8. She makes her home in the middle of nowhere in the northern Canadian wilds where she spends her long winters enjoying long books and blogging about faith, motherhood and everything in between at her blog Fountains of Home. She spends most of her time homeschooling and herding children, but in her spare time enjoys a good red wine just like G.K. Chesterton one of her personal heroes. She's also recently delved into podcasting with her spare minutes withThe Fountains of Carrots Podcast.
