Working away from Home

Greetings from the Windy City – I'm in Chicago today, having come here to celebrate the Baptism of my youngest nephew (and a Bears' victory!). With all of my family members at work today, I find myself with a few quiet hours on my hands in a bookstore with wireless internet access. I do believe that vacations should be relatively work free, but it I actually enjoy finding time like this to work outside of my normal home office environment. I find the time without interruptions for laundry or phone calls to be especially high yield. Do you take time to step outside your normal work environment periodically? You may find your creativity flowing and your ability to tie up loose ends heightened. We don't even have to head out of town – just to the local library!
