Gather four candles
Get out the wreath and find an honored place for it
Read from the prophets
Though these are busy times the church is saying slow down
For we need a little Advent
before Christmas season
Quiet prayerful moments
Contemplating Jesus

There's so much more than jingle bells
O Come, O Come Emmanuel!
So start some traditions
A daily Mass along with works of charity
Go to confession
Under the tree save room for a Nativity scene
For we all have cards for sending
Gifts we could be buying
Decorating, baking
Seems the time is flying
But to hear the voice of angels
giving us glad tidings
We need a little Advent now
