Dear Catholic Exchange,
Please, please convey my undying gratitude to Dr. Moynihan for his article, Reaping the Whirlwind. In all the (heated) rhetoric over the last week, this is the most sane treatment of the Holy Father's speech I've seen. It needs to be read, as he said, by “every Jew and Gentile, every Christian and athiest” in the world, and I hope it gets the audience it deserves. Meanwhile, let us all pray for il Papa!
