Dear Catholic Exchange,
I am not quite sure how to phrase this question, but I will try to make it clear. In reference to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are these three different people or does the Catholic Church believe that they are one. I thought that the Father in heaven was God; Jesus being his son sent to us to do God’s will on earth and redeem us; and the Holy Spirit being the spirit that guided us after the death of Jesus. I hope that this doesn't sound ridiculous but I recently heard two different opinions on this topic and I want to make sure that I have it right. Can you reference the bible regarding this topic. Again thank for your time.
Michele
