Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
2 Kings 18:32 until I come and take you to a land like your own, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and honey. Choose life and not death! "Do not listen to Hezekiah, for he is misleading you when he says, 'The LORD will deliver us.'
———————— WASHINGTON MARCH FOR LIFE: ———————
Late in October 1973, grassroots prolife leaders became concerned that January 22, 1974, might come and go without properly memorializing the Supreme Court's infamous abortion decisions, Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, and without petitioning Congress for redress.

Highest Authorities in Vatican Back Denial of Communion to Pro-Abortion Politicians July 5, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In April, the Vatican's leading prelate on the Sacraments, Cardinal Francis Arinze, declared unequivocally that unambiguously pro-abortion politicians should be denied Holy Communion. Over the weekend it was revealed that Cardinal Ratzinger, who heads the most important congregation in the Vatican, told U.S. bishops in a letter that pro-abortion politicians, who will not alter their stand or abstain from communion after being instructed by church leaders, "must" be refused communion.
In April Cardinal Arinze said such a politician "is not fit" to receive Communion. "If they should not receive, then they should not be given," he said. In the letter sent to Washington Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Cardinal Ratzinger wrote: "Regarding the grave sin of abortion or euthanasia, when a person's formal cooperation becomes manifest (understood, in the case of a Catholic politician, as his consistently campaigning and voting for permissive abortion and euthanasia laws), his Pastor should meet with him, instructing him about the Church's teaching, informing him that he is not to present himself for Holy Communion until he brings to an end the objective situation of sin, and warning him that he will otherwise be denied the Eucharist." He continued, "When 'these precautionary measures have not had their effect or in which they were not possible,' and the person in question, with obstinate persistence, still presents himself to receive the Holy Eucharist, 'the minister of Holy Communion must refuse to distribute it'." http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2004/jul/04070501.html

——————————————————————————————– While some pat the pro-abortion politicians on the back and call them friends and so forth, Bishop Carmody of Corpus Christi had this to say : “Yet, the claim that human life begins at conception is not merely a religious belief and is not a matter of conjecture or opinion, it is a fact undoubtedly established by the science of genetics. If we have an individual human being, we have a person, no matter how small, no matter how slightly developed.
Can we stand by and see our culture deteriorating to the level that it tolerates a mother performing a totally "un-mother-like" act of killing her own young? Has our nation lost its soul and its goodness, just to insure the right to privacy? Have we sold our soul for privacy?
What has happened to our country when those of us who stand for life are called fanatics, and those who stand for privacy over life are called modern and enlightened? Our quest is not an emotional one, it is not a fanatical one. All we say is, "Protect the baby!"
Can anyone be neutral today when such a clear-cut issue is involved? Can I say I believe one thing in private and another in public? Can I protect life in my conscience and allow death by my vote? No, we cannot be neutral. The fact that it is permitted by law does not make it right”.
