The Dominican Order: Prayer, Preaching, Study, and Food

The Order of Preachers is celebrating their 800th Jubilee this year and so Michael welcomes two modern Dominicans, Brothers Timothy Danaher and Joseph Martin Hagan to the the CE Podcast. The brothers share the history of the Dominican Order and how the charism of St. Dominic is still expressed in their work. The Order can be found preaching, at the March for Life, and even using folk music to spread the love of Jesus Christ. As it happens whenever a Dominican stops by, there is plenty of laughter and wisdom shared in today’s podcast.

Br. Timothy Danaher, OP is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville where he studied theology and literature before entering the Order in 2011. He often writes for Dominicana and even appears here on Catholic Exchange. His review of The Hounds of the Lord appears here.
