Start at the Source!

James 3:2

For we all make many mistakes, and if any one makes no mistakes in what he says he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.

The tongue is the most powerful muscle in the body. You can use it to lift up whole peoples from despair or plunge them into genocide. Training it is harder than training for the Olympics. In fact, only God’s Spirit can fully master it, because only God can get inside your heart, where all the words come from, and cleanse the source so the fountain will be clean water. Today, ask God to help you train your tongue so that your speech may glorify Christ and build others up in love, to the praise of God the Father.
