Dear Catholic Exchange:
I enjoyed Pete Brown’s comments on the question regarding the use of the brown scapular. In one of Scott Hahn's tapes, he likened it to a “spiritual dog tag” that identifies us as followers of Christ much the same way that a military dog tag identifies a soldier.
