Sorting through the clothes

It happened again. My 5 1/2 year old son outgrew his clothes. During the week, he wears his school uniform every day and doesn't like to take them off after school. So, last Saturday when he got up and put on his play clothes, we were all surprised to discover that his pants no longer fit. This meant that I needed to buy him a couple pairs of new pants.

It also meant that I could no longer put off the task of sorting through the boys' clothes. 4 year old Isaac's drawers were stuffed with clothes that no longer fit him. I went through all their clothes, removing all the too-small items from Isaac's collection and setting them aside. I then transferred all the clothes from David's drawers that no longer fit him into Isaac's drawers.

By the time I was done, I had a full bag of clothes to pass on to another family with a younger little boy and my boys' dresser drawers once again closed easily. A win-win situation!
