silent evangelism

By Jonathan Hunter-Kilmer

fountains of nothingness

make room for You

blow away, flow away all that I do

other annoyances, angers, distress,

pushed far away like a nail through the flesh

drained of my blood and refilled with Your grace

hanging without weight my pulse starts to race

not with the sternness of adrenalin

but as a rocket striaght up, curl and spin

whirl as emotions depart and replace

Son spots as wounds run my furor cool trace

inside and out clean the flaws I reject

splash away water You mingled protect

one long cool breeze is Your breath on my skin

inward enflame purge clear rebuild within

bubble forth soul song I speak with Your words

always expressing the You I have heard

move forward I while stay living in nest

spread Your love, Love, my life pressed to Your breast
