"US Catholic" ran a great article on Catholic On-Line Dating in this month's issue. While my dating days are far behind me, I think I would have liked the option that these sites provide. I never did meet a "Good Catholic Boy!" My husband grew up as a non-practicing Protestant and converted to Catholicism when we were engaged. We have been debating theology ever since!
It is pretty easy to accept your partner's religious differences when there are only two of you. It becomes more of a challenge when children are involved. Thankfully, my husband attends mass with us each Sunday (I know many are not so lucky) and never stands in the way of my religious education and prayer with our children. He does not, however, take part in it. I love my husband dearly. God brought us together for a reason. I pray a lot for my husband. Some days, I wish I had a husband I could pray with.
