Sailing

By Jonathan Hunter-Kilmer

the breath of Heaven in my face

relaxes, soothes this time and place

You've chosen for me,put me in

a moment lets me lose my sin

my sense of weakness, crawling grief

that takes my heart like scripture's thief

the vanity saps strength and fails

to bring my thoughts where my soul sails

on wind that carries Your words on

the breath made by His only Son
