Religious-Cloning Sect Goes on Hunger Strike

Seoul, South Korea — More than 700 followers of the Raelian movement will launch a collective hunger strike in Seoul to protest the South Korean government's decision to ask the cloning leader to leave the country. South Korea, over the weekend, denied a religious sect leader who claims to have created the world's first cloned baby entrance to their country. The founder of the Raelian movement, Claude Vorilhon was detained at a South Korean airport for nine hours and then requested to leave the country. Government officials were concerned he might try to set up shop to produce a clone. Reports indicate some South Korean women may have been involved with the cloning efforts in the past.
