Daniel 12:13
But go your way till the end; and you shall rest, and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.
It is both troubling and relieving to discover that the earth will still move in its appointed course when we are not there to supervise. Daniel, important as his role was, found that the world would continue on without him and that he could rest in his reward. He knew where he began and he knew where he ended. Today, thank God for your good place in his Plan and for the fact that not every place need be filled by you. Rejoice in the place that is yours and rest in that place.
