Possessions

by Dom Morda

“Take care to guard against all greed,

for though one may be rich, one’s life

does not consist of possessions”

(Luke 12: 15)

When does one realize

that possessions

are not

the currency of love?

When a loved one dies

Is there any material path

to reconciliation of all the issues

that were left undone between you?

Is there any thing you own

that you would not trade

for more time with a deceased

parent,

spouse,

child,

sibling,

friend?
