Dear Catholic Exchange:
Could you please change your motto “Your Faith, Your Life, Your World”? It is a concession to the narcissistic, self-centred attitude that marketing promotes and uses. It's not my faith, or my world.
Sincerely yours,
John Lamont
Dear John:
We're sorry that our motto innocently intended to convey the idea that this is a web portal for Catholics that provides information pertinent to our readers' faith, life, and world offends you. No matter how hard we try, we can't please everybody.
We won't be changing our motto, but we hope you will overlook our perceived faults and stay with us as a viewer.
