Making Your Marriage a Priority

With Valentine's Day upon us, the whole world seems to be telling us that our lives should be one big romantic experience. The truth is that marriage isn't often like that. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't make our marriages a priority in our lives. We can all devote some more time and energy to the special person we share our lives with. Take the time to make dates with your spouse, even if they don't involve leaving the house. After the kids are in bed, have a quiet dinner together and sit and talk or sit close while you watch a movie. Try to remember the things that brought you together in the first place.
