By Jonathan Hunter-Kilmer
ever expanding universe
stars to surround
a tuneful verse
human but soul
unbound by thought
made to rebel
resist onslought
crowned by the quasar
nova
tail
nacent and comet
bread, then grail
find what once held
Your body
raised
first from the earth
Heaven amazed
grateful we sprawl
unbound explore
learning to love
and live and more
following quiet glory
hers
draped in the grace
not heretofore
Lover
Whose mother
wept and kept
moving Your word
though all earth slept
fire from Heaven
wombed
interred
bringing to You
Love's wrath incurred
leading away from ground
unmade
unfettered
I You love
repayed
by One so wounded
mourned
and lost
into her arms
Your flesh
souls tossed
and by her hands
Your bower dressed
Love bring me home
where our Queen rest
