Lives Changed By The Passion

Hi Tom Allen:

My name is Kevin and I am a Catholic who has become more involved recently with my parish. One of my neighbors gave me an anti-Catholic tract to read. I read it and of course, some of what was said appears truthful. I started to get uneasy about it and thought to myself, “What if we, as Catholics, are being deceived”? We do pray to Mary and we do have statues in our churches. What about the Bible?

I was at lunch and prayed to God to help me see the truth because I was becoming very nervous inside. My first thought was: “Kevin, do you really think that God would cast someone into hell because they were incorrect in their thinking?” The thoughts were swirling around.

I saw The Passion of The Christ over the weekend and was very moved. I then ordered the book A Guide to The Passion. I think God just answered my prayer.

Keep me in your prayers

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

Dear Mr. Allen,

I thought I would share the following two websites with you and you in turn may wish to let all the Catholic Exchange readers know.

There is a TV documentary coming out soon on the Miracles of The Passion. These are real-life stories of individuals whose lives have been changed from seeing the movie The Passion.

Click here to find out more information.

Also, this article describes stories of criminals who have confessed their crimes to authorities after seeing The Passion.

Talk about “Amazing Grace.”

God bless you and Catholic Exchange,
