In Glory!

Revelation 5:13

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all therein, saying, “To him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might for ever and ever!”

The glory of God is not something we give him as if he needed it from us. The Blessed Trinity has, throughout eternity, all the glory he will ever have. But by the strange alchemy of divine love and humility, we are made participants in his Trinitarian life and “give glory” to a God who needs no glory from us. When Christ comes, every facet of Creation, human and non-human, living and dead, will give glory to him. Today, give him glory before he comes that you may practice the Steps of the Great Trinitarian Dance before the Ball begins!
