Hitting the Bullseye!

Exodus 24:12  “The LORD said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and wait there; and I will give you the tables of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”

Torah, the Hebrew word for “law”, comes from the root word yarah, an archer’s term, which speaks of hitting the mark. The law not only teaches us what pleases God, but it informs us of the sin that needs to go. As Israel struggled with sin of worshipping the golden calf and was in great need of God’s instruction, so you can learn from their experience. Do God’s word and hit the bullseye in your life.
