Romans 8:38-39
For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The glory of All Souls Day is that it really is true that not even death can separate us from the love of God. The message of the Resurrection to us is vastly more than “You will continue to exist.” It is that you will continue to live in love, that you will indeed be perfect in love and that you will finally have the happiness that has always eluded you in this life. It is the hope that not only you, but all that you love and cherish will be saved and fulfilled in union with the Blessed Trinity. Today rejoice that you shall see the Lord in the land of the living, through Jesus Christ.
