Joshua 1:5
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
The simple lesson of today’s Scripture is this: There is nothing God commands that he will not also enable us to do. God does not play games with us. He does not ask us to dance and then glue our feet to the floor. He is for us, not against us. He not only gives us the command, he gives us the will, ability, and strength to do what he bids us to do. If you, like Joshua, are facing a Canaan that needs conquering in your life so that you can do God’s will, don’t be afraid: God will be with you and will not fail you or forsake you.
