Washington, DC — Hundreds of collegians from across the nation will gather at Georgetown University (DC) the day before the annual March for Life for the third annual Cardinal O'Connor Conference on Life. This year's theme is “From Conception to Natural Death: Valuing Life in a Post-September 11th World.”
The conference will be held January 21 (Martin Luther King holiday) from 1:00-6:00 p.m. Featured speakers this year are Dr. Wanda Franz, president of the National Right to Life Committee, and Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey's 4th District. Students will have an opportunity to listen to some of the leading pro-life voices in America, meet other pro-life college students, participate in small group discussions, and join in the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. on January 22.
