From Encinitas to the Fullness of Faith
Dear Catholic Exchange:
My name is Lisa Grove, and I want to thank you for the daily Words of Encouragement that I receive. I also wanted to tell you that when I noticed you are in Encinitas, CA, I felt excited. You see, though I live now in Virginia, I grew up in Encinitas. At the time I was a Lutheran (I'm Catholic now, for 1 1/2+ years!), and we moved there so my Lutheran minister father could start a new church. I remember standing on the seat of a folding chair as a 2-year old as our first services were in a firehouse or someplace like that.
As a new Catholic, I feel excited to make a connection with Catholics in my old hometown! It's been a long, long time since I've lived there, but I still remember parts of it with fond memories.
Thank you for your faith in our Lord and His Church! And thank you for your ministry!
God bless you,
Lisa Grove
Dear Lisa:
Thanks so much for your kind words. We really enjoy hearing from our Catholic Exchange users, particularly when they have such an inspiring story.
Your spiritual journey is the kind of thing that motivates our apostolate. Thanks again and God bless!

Praises for Catholic Scripture Study
What follows are several letters from our viewers who love our Catholic Scripture Study. We didn't make any of them up. Honest.
Dear Catholic Exchange:
I have printed up Intro and Lesson One and will continue to avail myself of this study this way. I do have Adobe Acrobat Reader 2.1, but obviously didn't know how to use it.
Would you believe I am a Christian writer, published in New Covenant, Pastoral Life, and Family Digest and with a regular column in Our Church World, a weekly diocesan paper. I work on a computer; you would think I would be more savvy.
I appreciate your taking time to answer my calls for help and know my husband and I did the right thing to subscribe for a monthly donation.
Keep up the good work for Christ,
A Sister in Christ
I just started this program and I'm on study #1 lesson 5. I think it is awesome. I’m learning so much and realizing that Catholic teachings are the true teachings of God.
Thank you so much for this Bible study. Since my conversion to the Catholic Church I have wanted to study scripture more deeply. When I study Scripture using these lessons, they bring me profound joy in God's Word. It has blessed me not only in knowledge but with a deeper relationship with God through meditation on scripture.
I will contribute soon. Please let me know if the scripture study is in danger of ending because of lack of financial support. I will do all I can for you. God bless you all.
Yours in Christ,
Brian Douglas
Praise the Lord! I have just started the study on Ephesians and I am really grateful for what you guys have done. It's really great. Thanks!
I was directed to the study by Mark Shea through a Catholic convert board.
Thanks Mark!
Your brother in Jesus,
Engelbert
Dear Catholic Exchange:
You're the very best! May God continue to bless you and your ministry.
In His Name, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Madonna Susan Douglas
I love your studies at Catholic Exchange!! I love the Catechism connection and the papal quotes. Your studies are so rich and the questions really examine the Scripture, not just 'how do you relate this to your life' type questions.
I've never seen a study so full of detail and insight. Please keep it coming!
Sincerely,
Linda
