Homily of the Day

Friday of the Twenty-fifth Week in Ordinary Time

Who is Jesus for each one of us? How do we perceive him in our everyday lives? Who is he to us on a deeper, more personal level?

Do we consider him just another character in the Bible? Has he remained just another lesson from religion class at school? Or is there something more to this Jesus than just a familiar name?

Jesus values our views even if there are some of us don’t know him so well. It is a plus if we actively involve ourselves in getting to know Jesus more.

Let us discover who Jesus is to us. May we learn who Jesus is in terms of how we lead our daily lives. And let us strive to make ourselves available to accept Jesus into our hearts.
