Enter Real Life!

Malachi 4:2

But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall.

Today, like all Sundays, the Lord’s Resurrection is celebrated anew in the Church.  It is a day, not only for rest, but for “leaping like calves from the stall.”  It is a day, not for a break from “real life” but for entering into Real Life, for at mass we have entered into the very liturgy of Heaven and worshipped alongside angels and saints in the very throne room of Heaven with the Lamb.  Today, welcome the Sun of Righteousness who has risen and do a little leaping!  You have been healed by his stripes!
