Editors note: The following two letters are in response to “The Mother of the Son: The Case for Marian Devotion”
Mark,
You so fully use your gifts (humor, intelligence, patience, wit) from God and I am extremely thankful. You calm my fears, motivate me with common sense ways to better serve Jesus, give me articles to forward along and generally give me hope to persevere in this sometimes difficult Christian life.
Your articles on Mary have allowed me to finally understand and adore her, even after my life growing up Protestant and fearing to offend Jesus by doing so. I have even begun praying a daily rosary, each day with less “hesitation”. I know I can read your material with trust in what you say and pray that you continue to touch lives throughout the globe via the web. Your insight to our Faith is remarkable.
May Jesus continue to bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
Marc Beausoleil
Marc:
How wonderful to hear that you are growing closer to Our Lady! I know the jitters first hand! 🙂
May God continue to bless you as you seek to serve him through Jesus!

Brilliant, Mark. Thank you so much for this article. I have now read and am re-readingTrue Devotion to Mary by St. Louis De Montfort. I have made attempts to implement this devotion in my life. I struggle with it, but perhaps the grace is in the struggle. I do not know. Those whom I know who seem to have a deep devotion to our Blessed Mother also seem to be at great peace. If you have any comments, suggestions, or thoughts regarding putting this “True Devotion” into practice, I would love to hear them.
Thank you again for all your wonderful writing. You are making a powerful difference for God's Kingdom.
Grace and Peace,
Ron
A lot of this is new for me too. I'm still working on it. de Montfort is surely a better guide than me. My only other suggestion is to check out my book on Mary when it comes out in a few months. I'm working on the last couple chapters now. It will be published by Ascension Press. Sorry I'm not more help!
