Former FBI Director Louis Freeh has gone public for the first time with his insider view of the Clinton presidency. Freeh says that former President Clinton’s scandals made him a constant target of FBI investigations.
Freeh says in his new tell-all book, “Whatever moral compass the president was consulting was leading him in the wrong direction. His closets were full of skeletons just waiting to burst out.”
The Drudge Report says Freeh gave an interview with Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes, in which he said “My role and my obligation was to conduct criminal investigations. He, unfortunately for the country and unfortunately for him, happened to be the subject of that investigation.”
Former President Clinton along with his wife Hillary are known to pro-life and pro-family advocates as the most abortion-friendly politicians in US history. Since the end of their administration, it has been revealed that the Clinton White House was a place where Christian ideals of the family were regularly mocked, and pornography was available to staffers.
A consultant hired in 1999 to beef up security for the White House's computer network found massive pornographic video files that had been downloaded by staffers during the height of the impeachment crisis.
Freeh said that he wanted to stay in office until the end of the Clinton Presidency because he feared what kind of man the disgraced president would appoint as his replacement. Freeh’s book, My FBI : Bringing Down the Mafia, Investigating Bill Clinton, and Fighting the War on Terror is to be released next week.
