Dear Catholic Exchange,
The Humility article and the “giants” quote by Chesterton were especially enjoyable and brought to mind my beautiful, wholly innocent, truly happy, and humble little grand-daughter Meghan. She is entirely focused outward and has no ego that gets in her way. She looks to her mom and dad for answers to those never ending questions. She looks to granny for endless playtime. She gets excited by every tomorrow and time still has no boundaries. She dresses-up like her mommy and kicks a ball like her dad. She colors for her pa and says horses can be green. She makes a triangular sign-of-the-cross when saying grace before her meal. She loves her family with all heart. She kisses her little sister on the forehead and makes a cry turn into a laugh. She looks to the sky for God to answer and unbeknownst to her He smiles back.
In Christ,
