Beyond the Lemonade Stand

Last night our family went out to dinner to celebrate my son Adam's 13th birthday.  Over a great meal, we had an interesting family discussion about jobs.  Adam was discussing ways to earn money and jobs he might be able to obtain at 13 years of age.  I usually remind him at every opportunity that his most important jobs are to be a productive and contributing member of our family and to be a good student and citizen.  It was interesting, however, to hear his job ideas – they ranged from roving musician to carpenter.

This morning, I ran across an interesting video about inspiring our children to become entrepreneurs.   Interestingly, a few of the suggestions mentioned in the video might apply to those of us attempting to build successful home businesses or build our entrepreneurial spirits.  This video is from Mom Matters.
