Best-Seller Exposes Corruption in Reno Justice Department

(AgapePress) – An attorney and syndicated columnist hopes his best-selling book will enlighten the public about the repeated abuses of power by the Justice Department during the Clinton years.

The book is called Absolute Power, and author David Limbaugh has already seen it climb the best-seller list. The Cape Girardeau, Missouri, attorney says while there were numerous Clinton scandals, he wanted his book to focus on those involving the Janet Reno Justice Department.

“I just wanted to do a book chronicling those and setting the record straight, because I concluded that if you can’t bring Clinton to account through the legal or political systems, at least we ought to do what we can to make him accountable in terms of the historical record,” Limbaugh says. “So, I’ve tried to set out an accurate historical record for posterity with the limited, modest hope that it might create somewhat of a deterrent from future misconduct from other public office holders.”

Limbaugh says Bill Clinton did commit numerous crimes during his scandal-ridden era, including perjury, witness tampering, and violating campaign laws. The author says if Clinton were treated like an ordinary citizen, he would be in jail.
