Francisco S. Tatad

Francisco S. Tatad is a former Philippines senator. He served in the Cabinet for ten years and in the Legislature for 15 years, mostly as Senate Majority Leader. He has authored a number of books, and recently participated as a signatory to the San Jose Articles. He sits on the board of the International Right to Life Federation in Cincinnati, the advisory board of World Youth Alliance in New York, and has spoken at the World Congress of Families in Prague, Geneva, Amsterdam and Madrid. He and his wife have seven children and a growing number of grandchildren. A journalist by profession he still writes a column three times a week for the Manila Standard, and does a weekly cable-TV program on Global News Network (GNN).
